The White House Farm murders were a tragic and infamous multiple homicide case that occurred in Essex, England, in August of 1985. Neville and June Bamber were killed in their home along with their 28-year-old adopted daughter, Sheila, and her twin sons, Nicholas and Daniel. Jeremy Bamber, their 24-year-old adopted son, was the sole survivor and lived in a guest house on the farm. Jeremy found the brutal crime scene and called police; however, things weren't adding up as he told his story. At first, he convinced the police that his ‘crazy’ sister, Sheila, annihilated the family and then killed herself. Good try, Jeremy! This case involved complex evidence and a disputed timeline of events. Jeremy Bamber has maintained his innocence, and the case has generated significant controversy and debate over decades. It's a complex and distressing story that has been the subject of documentaries and books. Let us know what you think!
