5-Why I Had My Father Killed-Cheryl Cuccio

Cheryl Pierson Cuccio is known for her involvement in a highly publicized legal case in the 1980s on Long Island, New York.  She was convicted of conspiring to murder her abusive father, James Pierson, when she was just 16 years old.

The case drew significant attention due to the allegations of long-term abuse Cheryl and her family had suffered.  Cheryl's  conviction sparked debates about whether it was a case of self-defense or premeditated murder.

After serving time in prison, Cheryl Cuccio turned her life around, became an advocate against domestic violence, and co-authored a book with her husband, Rob, titled "Incest, Murder and a Miracle: The True Story Behind the Cheryl Pierson Murder-for-Hire Headlines" to share her perspective on the events that transpired.
